Nursery Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nursery Manager to join our team at Tops Day Nurseries. As a Senior Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for creating a safe, educational, and fun environment for the children in our care.
You will supervise children, ensure their safety, and organize activities such as games, crafts, and educational tasks. You will also be responsible for communicating with children, staff members, and parents, and for maintaining a positive outlook to keep children happy and build an environment where they feel secure and rewarded.
About the NurseryTops Bearwood Nursery is a 55 place Day Nursery & Pre-School situated in Bearwood, Bournemouth. The nursery runs several extra-curricular activities including Tops Forest School, Holiday club (after school care), and much more.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the nursery setting effectively, ensuring a safe and educational environment for children.
- Communicate excellently with children, staff members, and parents, building strong relationships and ensuring effective communication.
- Develop and implement educational activities that promote children's learning and development.
- Maintain a positive outlook, ensuring children feel secure and rewarded.
- Develop and maintain the nursery budget, ensuring effective financial management.
- Monitor the condition of the facility and equipment, organizing maintenance, repairs, and new items as required.
- Update parents and carers about their child's progress and behaviour.
- Prepare the nursery for Ofsted inspections and follow inspector recommendations.
- A minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification is required.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.
