About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Behaviour Teaching Assistant in Lambeth. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with challenging behaviours and special educational needs.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide one-to-one and small group support to students who require additional help with their academic studies and behavioural needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students who have challenging behaviours, special educational needs, or mental health issues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing emotional and academic support to students in the classroom
  • Developing and implementing behaviour management plans
  • Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to ensure consistent support for students
  • Reporting any concerns or incidents to senior staff

The salary for this role is £95-£115 per day, depending on experience. We offer a competitive daily rate and a supportive environment that values employee well-being.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A DBS check
  • Experience working with students with challenging behaviours, special educational needs, or mental health issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think on your feet and respond to challenging situations
  • Team Teach training (desirable)
