We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Manager to lead the successful delivery of a large-scale residential development project in Dorset. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining effective communication channels with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate and manage all on-site construction activities, including subcontractors, suppliers, and workforce.
  2. Collaborate with the Build Manager to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  3. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  4. Monitor and control all costs, quality, and progress of the project.
  5. Collaborate closely with architects, designers, engineers, and consultants to resolve any site issues and maintain project momentum.
  6. Maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, including clients, local authorities, and internal teams.
  7. Implement effective risk management strategies and contingency plans.
  8. Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality units within budget constraints.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager, overseeing large-scale residential or commercial construction projects.
  2. Strong knowledge of construction methods, processes, and materials.
  3. Extensive experience in managing and leading on-site teams of builders, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  4. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and experience implementing safety procedures on construction sites.
  5. Results-oriented mindset with a keen eye for detail and quality standards.
  6. Solid understanding of project management principles and practices.
  7. Relevant certifications and qualifications such as SMSTS and CSCS.
