About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning and Test Engineer to join our team at Alstom Gruppe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and executing test and commissioning activities for signalling systems in the field, in support of one or several projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing to deliver test and commissioning activities
  • Executing test activities in the field
  • Experience or understanding of railway signalling systems
  • IRSE licensed tester or engineering manager
  • Valid PTS
  • IOSH - desirable
  • Knowledge of onboard systems
  • Familiarity with non-Network Rail organisations
  • Knowledge of contract conditions
  • Commercial awareness

Requirements

  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn
  • Able to work independently
  • A strong team player, with effective interpersonal skills
  • Mobile and willing to work away from home
