About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Test and Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and executing test and commissioning activities for signalling systems in the field, in support of one or several projects.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and execute test and commissioning activities for signalling systems in the field, in support of one or several projects.
  • Work closely with teams across the business, including Verification and Validation teams.
  • Provide resilience and analytical thinking to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver communications in an open and clear manner.
  • Adhere to Alstom's EHS and AZDP rules.

We are looking for someone with experience or understanding of railway signalling systems, IRSE licensed tester or engineering manager, valid PTS, and knowledge of onboard systems. Familiarity with non-Network Rail organisations and knowledge of contract conditions are also desirable.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a desire to learn, able to work independently, and a strong team player with effective interpersonal skills. You will also need to be mobile and willing to work away from home.
