About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team at Dematic. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing breakdown cover for Dematic installed equipment across various customer sites in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and industry standard practices
  • Undertake emergency repairs in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and industry standard practices
  • Undertake occasional scheduled service work in accordance with standards set out in relevant manufacturer's equipment manual
  • Accurately record all work undertaken
  • Provide 24hr x 7day emergency on-call service as required
  • Comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times
  • Ensure quality of output at all times
  • Represent company in a professional manner at all times
  • Ensure correct equipment/tools are carried to undertake role
  • Adhere to Quality processes and procedures as set out by company
  • Identify continuous improvement and sales opportunities
Qualifications & Experience
  • 5 years of experience within warehouse automated industry (or related engineering environments)
  • Minimum ONC (or equivalent) qualification in Mechanical / Maintenance discipline
  • Electrical qualified
  • Good understanding of materials handling and automated systems
  • LEEAPart 1 is desirable
  • Working knowledge of LOLER regulations
  • Working knowledge of FEM and BS standards governing automated warehouse industry
  • Full UK Driving Licence due to travel requirements of position
