Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Residential Security Assistant to join our team at Sodexo. As a Residential Security Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing enhanced supervision and support to residents in our Approved Premises. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a vulnerable population and make a positive impact on their lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the supervision of residents, dealing with routine issues and referring serious incidents to designated managers.
  • Staff and supervise the Approved Premises during designated shifts, adhering to procedures and maintaining records.
  • Enforce Approved Premises rules, respond to abusive or aggressive behaviour, and model pro-social behaviour.
  • Liaise with Key Workers, Deputy Manager, and Manager to share issues concerning residents.
  • Process information, maintain records, and contribute to the work with substance misusers.
  • Monitor and record residents' movements, conduct curfew checks, and engage with residents in a pro-social manner.
Requirements
  • Understanding of good Health and Safety practice
  • Understanding of good anti-discriminatory practice
  • 1st Aid Trained
  • Good English oral & written, administration and IT communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively
