Residential Security Specialist

Sodexo is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Security Assistant to join our team in Merseyside. As a key member of our Approved Premises, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise residents in accordance with policy and practice, addressing routine issues and referring serious incidents to management.
- Staff and supervise the Approved Premises during designated shifts, adhering to procedures and maintaining accurate records.
- Enforce Approved Premises rules, responding appropriately to abusive or aggressive behaviour.
- Model pro-social behaviour and attitudes, challenging anti-social behaviour.
- Liaise with Key Workers and management to share issues concerning residents.
- Process information and maintain records, including inputting data on the database system.
- Contribute to the work with substance misusers, dispensing and recording medication as necessary.
- Monitor and record residents' movements, conducting curfew checks and wellbeing checks.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, reporting maintenance and security issues.
- Conduct room searches, clear residents' rooms, and monitor CCTV equipment.
- Engage with residents in a pro-social manner, contributing to their protection and well-being.
- Support the arrangement and delivery of purposeful activities for residents.
Requirements
- Understanding of good Health and Safety practice.
- Understanding of good anti-discriminatory practice.
- 1st Aid Trained.
- Good English oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively.

Package Description
Please note - age restriction applies for this position, so candidates must be over the age of 18+ and have a valid in-date SIA license.
- 42 hours per week.
- 4 on, 4 off.
- 20:00-08:00.
- £1 bonus per hour worked x4 months per year.
