Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our team at SP Energy Networks. As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a portfolio of project schedules for SP Transmission Major Projects, ensuring a coherent and consistent approach is applied throughout the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of project schedules for SP Transmission Major Projects
  • Ensure a coherent and consistent approach is applied throughout the portfolio
  • Resolve project-centric scheduling and specific programming issues by interfacing with members of the Project Team
  • Assess schedule risk associated with updates from the Project Team and highlight programme delivery risk and possible programming solutions to alleviate or mitigate the risk
  • Communicate interactions and potential clashes between projects and highlight issues to be resolved by the Project Teams at the earliest opportunity
Requirements
  • Proven experience in scheduling/programming/planning projects
  • Portfolio of works and knowledge of planning software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project
  • Reporting experience working with Engineering Specifications and documentation
  • Knowledge about the configuration and general arrangement of electricity supply infrastructure (substations, overhead lines and cables)
