Senior Residential Care Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Residential Care Leader to join our team at Emmaus House, a 26-bed Christian residential care home in Whitehaven, Cumbria.
This is a unique opportunity to lead a dedicated team of care professionals in providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents.
As a Senior Residential Care Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that our care services are delivered in line with our Christian values and policies.
You will lead and manage the care and hospitality teams, ensuring they are well-trained and motivated to provide exceptional care to our residents.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring high-quality care in line with our policies and Christian values;
- Leading and managing the care and hospitality teams;
- Overseeing the development and implementation of care plans;
- Managing the home's budget in conjunction with the Head Office Finance Team;
- Managing complaints from residents, relatives, and staff in accordance with Society policy;
- Engaging with local support groups to maximise voluntary help and spiritual support available;
- Upholding the Christian ethos of the home through leadership and example.
Requirements:
- Management experience in a residential care home or similar setting;
- Qualification in Health & Social Care (Level 3 or above);
- Strong leadership and people management skills;
- A passion for person-centred care and working with older people;
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities;
- IT proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook);
- Ability to manage workload and remain calm under pressure.
We offer a competitive salary of £47,000 to £50,000 per annum, 5 weeks' paid holiday per year, and a range of benefits including training and development opportunities, ongoing support from management, and a pension scheme.
