HGV Driver/Operative

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Driver to join our team at Veolia ES (UK) LIMITED. As an HGV Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of waste and materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Driving Operations: Drive HGV vehicles to collection locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery of waste and materials.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Complete daily checks of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Logistics and Administration: Maintain accurate records of daily logs, including vehicle checks and delivery information.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and legislation, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Environmental Stewardship: Ensure that the carriageway is left well maintained and that waste is disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner.
- Qualifications and Experience: Hold a valid Class 2 (Cat C) license and have some previous driving experience. Newly qualified drivers are also encouraged to apply.
- Certifications and Training: Possess an up-to-date CPC/Digi card and be willing to undergo additional training as required.
- Personal Qualities: Demonstrate a can-do attitude, strong time management skills, and a commitment to safety and environmental responsibility.
