Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at Dept. of Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over short or long distances, ensuring safe and timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport goods and materials over short or long distances
  • Ensure safe and timely deliveries
  • Operate a heavy goods vehicle in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth logistics operations

Shift Pattern:

We operate a 4 on 4 off shift pattern with nights out. You will be allocated a specific truck to share with your opposite on the 4 days off. Overtime is always available, however this would be in a different vehicle.

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 license
  • Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use logistics software
