Job Title: Adult Mental Health Practitioner

Location: Remote

Contract Type: Full-time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £39,338-£46,962 per annum, dependent on experience

Crooton Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our mental health services, you will be responsible for providing expert mental healthcare to individuals and working closely with our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide Specialist Mental Healthcare: Deliver a range of specialist interventions at primary and secondary care levels, including referral management, screening assessment, triage, and evidence-based interventions.
  2. Care Planning and Risk Assessing: Develop and implement comprehensive care plans, assessing and managing risk to ensure the well-being of individuals in our care.
  3. Facilitate One-to-One and Group Work: Lead and facilitate one-to-one and group work sessions, promoting positive behavioral change and supporting individuals in achieving their goals.
  4. Manage Challenging Caseloads: Manage a diverse and complex caseload, including individuals with severe enduring mental illness, personality difficulties, and neurodevelopmental problems.

Requirements:

  • NMC Registration: Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  • Qualifications and Experience: Degree supplemented by diploma or specialist training, with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience as an RMN, and extensive clinical experience.
  • Leadership and Supervisory Experience: Proven supervisory experience of junior staff and students, with the ability to lead and mentor others.
