Healthcare Support Worker Role

We are seeking a Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a member of our care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support on Cherry and Mulberry wards at Scarborough Hospital.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the importance of delivering exceptional patient experiences and will be able to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

About the JobThis is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about patient care and is looking to start or continue their career in the NHS. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with patients on Cherry and Mulberry wards at Scarborough Hospital.
You will be expected to work a combination of shifts, including nights, weekends, and Bank Holidays. Please note that a full-time induction programme is required for the first 4 weeks in your new role, which must be completed within 3 months of your interview date.
Skills and QualificationsThe successful candidate will need to have:
- A strong understanding of the role of a HCSW
- Awareness of what is important to a patient
