Learning Assistant in Mainstream Education

Uniform Education is currently recruiting for a Special Educational Needs Assistant to work in some fantastic mainstream primary schools in Harrow, Brent, Barnet, and Hillingdon. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people who require additional help in the classroom.
In this rewarding role, you will provide one-to-one support to pupils, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their academic goals. You will also contribute to the development of learning plans and participate in staff meetings to discuss pupil progress.
To be successful in this position, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with teachers, teaching assistants, and other support staff. You should also have experience working with children or young people who have special educational needs and/or disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to pupils with special educational needs
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons
- Support pupils in accessing the curriculum
- Participate in staff meetings to discuss pupil progress
- Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
