Job Opportunity: Therapist for Community Care

Norfolk Council is looking for a dedicated Therapist for Community Care to join our well-structured and dynamic team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and assessments for equipment and home modifications, recommending adaptations, and reviewing their effectiveness.

You will work autonomously and in liaison with Social Work colleagues to utilize your functional, moving and handling skills and knowledge of equipment to positively influence the care and support needs of our residents.

Key responsibilities include assessment of service users and carers with complex needs, completing OT assessments, and providing both simple and complex equipment and adaptations.

A strong understanding of safeguarding vulnerable people and dignity & respect when dealing with individuals is essential. The successful candidate will have previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the community and possess excellent communication skills.

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including enhanced DBS/CRB and eligibility to work in the UK.
