Job Description

The role of a Land Manager at Redcliffe Homes Ltd involves overseeing the acquisition and management of land for new developments across the South West region. This includes identifying potential sites, negotiating terms with landowners, and ensuring that all necessary legal and planning procedures are followed.

A successful candidate will have a proven track record in buying and managing land, as well as excellent negotiation and communication skills. They will also have a strong understanding of the planning system and policy at both local and national levels.

About You\
  • \
  • You will be responsible for identifying new development opportunities through various tools such as land audits, statutory development plans, and liaising with agents and existing contacts.\
  • Negotiate terms and secure sites, including initial due diligence, EOI's, formulating offers, and managing the legal process with our appointed solicitors.\
  • Assist with internal procedures of acquiring land whether it be Unconditional, Conditional (STP), or via Option / Promotion agreements.\
  • Monitor the strategic land portfolio, with national and local planning policy guidelines.\
  • Prepare pre application, planning applications and appeals if necessary working alongside our internal development planner.\
  • Co-ordinate the viability process and agree land values with owners/agents in exercising option agreements.\
