Counsellor on Placement

We are seeking a qualified Counsellor to join our team as a Counsellor on Placement. As a Counsellor on Placement, you will provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in our partner schools.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one counselling to children and young people in a therapeutic capacity.
- Work with up to 3 children per day, offering emotional support and guidance.
- Participate in regular supervision and training workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of our clinical team and the improvement of mental health services for children and young people.
- A comprehensive induction programme and ongoing support from our experienced clinical team.
- Regular supervision and training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

We are looking for a qualified Counsellor who is passionate about working with children and young people. You will have a strong understanding of child development and the ability to work effectively with children of different ages and backgrounds.
You will be a fully qualified Counsellor, Therapist or Clinical Psychologist, or studying towards one of these professions. You will have a Diploma in Counselling (Level 4 or above), or a Degree, MSc or MA in Counselling, Counselling Psychology or Psychotherapy.
