Counsellor on Placement Opportunity

About the Role
Counsellors on Placement with Place2Be provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in partner schools. As an organisation that has adopted the BACP ethical framework of good practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, counsellors working within the organisation are dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of the children they work with.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one counselling to up to 3 children per day
- Work in a therapeutic capacity with children and young people
- Participate in regular supervision and training workshops
- Contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive school environment
About You
We are looking for fully qualified Counsellors, Therapists, or Clinical Psychologists who are passionate about working with children and young people. You will have a strong understanding of child development and the ability to work effectively with children of different ages and backgrounds.
