Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Architect to join our team at Manchester Digital. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering cutting-edge technical solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Salary: £89,880 (London) or £79,094 (National), based on capability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with a proven track record of architecting and implementing large-scale technical systems. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders to define technical requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement technical architectures that meet business requirements and drive innovation.
  • Lead technical teams and collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Analyse complex technical problems and develop creative solutions that balance business needs with technical feasibility.
  • Develop and maintain technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic direction.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical guidance and support to ensure their success.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong technical expertise in software engineering, including experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of successfully architecting and implementing large-scale technical systems.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms and containerisation technologies.
  • Familiarity with security best practices and compliance regulations.
