Job Description

The role focuses on managing sectors/subsidiaries within the group, working with CEOs of those entities to advise on legal matters and shape commercial decisions. Your day-to-day work will involve developing in-depth knowledge of business relationships with senior stakeholders to advise on legal implications of all aspects of an expanding international business.

  • Negotiating, drafting, reviewing, and advising on commercial technology contracts, including SaaS Agreements, Software Development and License Agreements, Integration/Interface/Data Transfer Agreements, and commercial terms from customers and suppliers.
  • Advising on Data Protection issues, particularly in relation to GDPR implementation and international expansion, as well as general IP elements of service offerings.
  • Proactively following legal developments, updating the business, planning, advising, and implementing legal processes to support and protect a growing international business.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A UK Qualified Lawyer degree with 4-6 years of post-qualification experience.
  • A strong private practice training contract gained at a City, West End, or reputable regional law firm.
  • A strong academic background.
  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills with good attention to detail.
  • Relevant technical skills coupled with the ability to work in a commercial environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Salary

We offer a competitive salary range of £120,000 - £180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
