Job Title: Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Hexagon Care Services. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our care.

About the Role:

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to safeguarding, motivating, and inspiring young people. You will work closely with our experienced team of practitioners, psychologists, and therapeutic services team to provide a positive and supportive environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support and care to young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring the needs of young people are met.
  • Participate in shift work, including evenings, weekends, and sleep ins, to ensure 24/7 care and support.

Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a residential care setting, preferably with children or young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, families, and colleagues.
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of young people.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep ins.
