Company Overview:Digital Waffle is currently recruiting for a Data Cable Specialist to support a key client based in the North West of England.
Key Responsibilities:- Installation and Maintenance: Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of structured data cabling systems, including CAT5e, CAT6, fibre optics, and other related cabling solutions.
- Compliance: Ensure all cabling works are compliant with industry standards and best practices, particularly those related to security and data protection.
- Troubleshooting: Provide troubleshooting support for any issues related to data cabling, including fault finding and resolution of connectivity problems.
- Cabling Experience: Proven experience in installing and maintaining data cabling systems (CAT5e, CAT6, fibre optics) within commercial or secure environments.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with structured cabling standards and network infrastructure.
- Initial Contract Length: 3 months with potential for extension.
- Immediate Start: We require immediate start for this role.
