Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at First Recruitment Group. The successful candidate will review and endorse quality plans, conduct compliance verification activities, and perform quality audits of site activities and subcontractor operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review and Endorse Quality Plans:
    • Ensure that quality plans are developed in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
  2. Conduct Compliance Verification Activities:
    • Verify compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  3. Quality Audits:
    • Conduct quality audits of site activities and subcontractor operations to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Essential Experience & Qualifications:

  1. Industry Experience:
    • Proven experience working in a QA or QC function within the nuclear sector.
  2. Subcontractor Oversight:
    • Experience in overseeing subcontractors and managing lifetime records.
  3. Quality Management Systems:
    • Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems.

Certifications:

  • CQI Membership
  • IOSH Working Safely (or equivalent)

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
