Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at NRL Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing site quality arrangements across all aspects of site activities, ensuring that activities are undertaken to establish the implementation status of these arrangements and reporting such information.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement site quality arrangements to ensure compliance with project lifecycle requirements.
  2. Proactively support and advise on all aspects of quality on site, including risks and issues.
  3. Ensure quality requirements are defined and implemented as part of the site induction and training process.
  4. Manage and close out site quality non-conformances/issues.
  5. Review and approve/accept supplier quality arrangements in accordance with site/project requirements.
  6. Monitor progress against site quality arrangements and identify areas of concern to the overall project.
  7. Liaise with customers to understand their requirements/expectations for quality assurance, quality control, and inspection.
  8. Review enquiry, tender, and contract documentation for quality requirements and contract specifications.
  9. Undertake quality planning, including preparation of site quality documentation and writing of site-specific procedures/local working instructions.
  10. Liaise with site subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality and specification requirements are understood.
  11. Review purchase requisitions/purchase orders for quality requirements input.
  12. Participate in site/project meetings and contract review/handover meetings.
  13. Carry out oversight surveillance of installation, testing, and commissioning activities in line with site Inspection & Test Plans and associated completions check sheets.
Requirements
  1. Good working knowledge of the Nuclear industry and Nuclear License Conditions.
  2. Good working knowledge of customer quality requirements.
  3. Knowledge of Configuration Management Practices.
Experience
  1. Experience of Nuclear Construction Site Work.
  2. CSCS card holder.
  3. Experience of drafting ITP's and construction Installation, Test & Commissioning check sheets.
  4. Flexible approach.
  5. Computer literate with experience in using software packages relevant to the role.
  6. Ability to produce accurate and appropriate information.
  7. Continually seeks to improve working practice, performance, and productivity.
  8. Ensures procedures are consistently applied across projects.
Education
  1. Ideally be qualified to a HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject.
  2. Have valid inspection certificates.
