Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Insight Director to join our team. As a key member of our corporate and League brand, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering the research, analytics, and insight agenda.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage data, trends, and consumer behavior analytics to drive business decisions and improve fan engagement, brand positioning, and commercial performance.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to understand fan behavior, market trends, and industry competition.
  • Analyze data on fan engagement, brand perception, and consumer sentiment to inform brand positioning and activation strategies.
  • Design and implement performance metrics and KPIs to track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, sponsorships, and partnerships.
  • Lead the League focused insight team, providing mentorship and development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in insights, market research, and analytics, preferably within the sports or entertainment industry.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver research and analytics projects that lead to brand equity growth.
  • Experience in managing complex research projects from conception through to implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience to demonstrate compelling data-led storytelling.
  • Proficient in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Understanding of emerging research-related technologies in data analytics and their application in consumer insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of the commercial aspects of sports, including sponsorship, partnerships, and media rights.
