About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HV Electrical Fitter to join our team at Ipsum. As a key member of our electrical services team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical equipment, including transformers and switchgear, on client sites across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment, including transformers and switchgear.
  • Conduct electrical testing and fault finding to identify and resolve issues.
  • Write detailed quality reports and daily site reports to document work completed.
  • Work proactively to identify and report faults to equipment.
  • Install HV/LV panels and transformers to manufacturer's standards.
Requirements
  • BTEC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Thorough understanding of electrical power systems up to 33KV.
  • Good knowledge of transformer maintenance and repair.
  • Operational experience as a HV Electrical Fitter.
  • Ability to work proactively on own or in a team.
  • Eligibility for SC/CTC clearance and DBS check.
  • Full UK driving licence.
