Job Description

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise and knowledge of housing legislation. You will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to individuals facing homelessness, ensuring they receive the support required to achieve sustainable housing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent homelessness.
  • Provide expert advice on housing options and legal rights to those in need.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external agencies to resolve housing issues.
  • Conduct home visits to assess the accuracy of homelessness applications.
  • Offer complex legal and housing advice to home seekers about their rights and options.

Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Experience as a Housing Needs Officer or similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A high level of expertise and knowledge of housing legislation.
  • Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £28,000 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and a supportive working environment.
