About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Rotational Physiotherapist to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. As a Rotational Physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of paediatric specialities, including Neurology, Haematology/Oncology, Cardiorespiratory, Neuromuscular, Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, and Neuro-disability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake all aspects of your clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
  • Be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of your own work.
  • Accept clinical responsibility for your own caseload and prioritise appropriately, working without direct supervision.
  • Provide cover across the department during episodes of staff shortage or heavy workload to ensure service delivery.
  • Be responsible for maintaining your own competency to practice through reflective practice and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.
  • Contribute to the teaching of physiotherapy assistants within core clinical areas.
  • Be responsible for the supervision of assistants daily.
  • Organise and plan your own caseload to meet service and patient priorities.
