We are seeking a Senior Risk Consultant to join our successful Risk team in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting the implementation of integrated risk management across major capital programmes and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead risk commissions, including the management of teams
  2. Facilitate and work with stakeholders to identify, assess, and prioritize threats, opportunities, and issues
  3. Maintain visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points to facilitate risk cost profiling, timely drawdown of risk budget, or retirement of threat/opportunity
  4. Monitor overall risk exposure and assess against the remaining risk budget and timeline
  5. Proactively manage the completion of management responses
  6. Work with the supply chain to assess contractor responsibility risks and their views on client risks that could impact their ability to deliver
  7. Produce and present fit-for-purpose risk reports, in a timely manner, to support the effective communication of threat & opportunity status and required senior management action
  8. Conduct quantitative risk assessment (cost and schedule) to inform project contingency and time risk allowance levels
  9. Present key risk findings to clients, including assurance of supply chain risk management performance
  10. Familiarity with web-based database/reporting tools - ARM, Xactium, Predict, Tableau, PowerBI
  11. Commission management and risk service development and delivery
Requirements
  1. A working understanding of developing and implementing integrated risk management solutions across portfolios, programmes, and projects
  2. Risk and Scenario Analysis workshop facilitation
  3. Strong understanding of Project Controls methodology and risk management interactions
  4. Experience of senior management engagement on risk management
  5. We are looking for candidates with proven experience in a risk delivery role on major projects/programmes or blue chip companies
  6. IRM/APM risk certified candidates preferred, however not essential
