Maintenance Planner

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our Planning and Scheduling Team at United Utilities. As a key member of our Maintenance Excellence programme, you will be responsible for planning and allocating maintenance activities across multiple sites, ensuring safe and cost-effective asset reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement maintenance job plans that meet safety and operational requirements
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to deliver proactive maintenance and minimize downtime
- Manage and maintain a library of maintenance job plans and procedures
- Work with operations and maintenance teams to adapt maintenance plans and improve asset reliability
- Participate in regular planning meetings to develop executable schedules
- Qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (HNC or NVQ level 3 or equivalent)
- Significant experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, preferably in a water or similar industry
- Excellent knowledge of plant operations, equipment, and Health and Safety processes
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with ability to work logically and efficiently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
