We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Fundraising Marketing Manager to join our Income Generation team at the Motor Neurone Disease Association. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Community Fundraising Development Manager to develop and implement marketing and promotional activities for our existing portfolio of fundraising events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Community Fundraising marketing team, including development, performance management, and ongoing support to foster a motivated and high-performing team.
  • Recruit and retain fundraisers through effective promotional activities and fundraising marketing.
  • Manage event logistics, ensuring that budgets are monitored and maintained while delivering exceptional experiences for our supporters.
  • Collaborate with the Community Management Team to create operational plans, including fundraising marketing plans.
  • Project manage a range of marketing campaigns across Community Fundraising through multiple channels, including digital, telephone, face-to-face, and print, while monitoring their effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Experience in fundraising or marketing and sales.
  • Ability to lead, develop, and support a successful team, helping them reach their full potential while being responsive to their needs.
  • Management experience, including the skills to motivate and coach others.
  • Solid understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.
  • Proven track record of meeting recruitment targets and managing expenditure budgets.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting and presenting statistical information effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building and maintaining relationships both internally and externally.
