Opportunity Summary

ATB - The Big Jobsite is seeking an experienced Energy Modeller to join their sustainability team based in Southampton. This permanent position offers a stable and rewarding career path with opportunities for growth.

About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity to work on energy modelling and analysis using IES-VE software to optimize building performance. You will collaborate with architects and engineers to implement energy design strategies, enhancing client understanding of Part L and Part O. Additionally, you will provide sustainable solutions to reduce clients' carbon footprint and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform energy modelling and analysis using IES-VE software.
  2. Evaluate projects to ensure compliance with CIBSE TM52 and TM59 by conducting Part O assessments.
  3. Collaborate with architects and engineers to implement energy design strategies.
  4. Enhance client understanding of Part L and Part O.
  5. Provide sustainable solutions to reduce clients' carbon footprint and mentor junior team members.

Requirements for Success:
To be successful in this role, you should have proficiency in IES-VE software for energy modelling and analysis. Relevant experience in a similar role or consultancy within the built environment industry is also essential. A background in environmental science or engineering is required. Additionally, experience producing TM52 and TM59 reports according to CIBSE guidelines is necessary. Excellent communication and presentation skills are also required. Strong attention to detail is crucial for this position.
