Role Overview

The Forward Trust Careers is seeking an experienced Career Pathways Advisor to join our team at HMP Winchester.

About the Role

You will be responsible for coaching and preparing learners, clients, and job seekers to achieve their career goals. This involves providing guidance on employment opportunities, training programs, and education pathways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver career guidance and employability skills training to individuals in a prison setting.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement career development programs.
  • Analyze client data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners to enhance career opportunities.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of The Forward Trust Careers through innovation and best practice.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the UK's career guidance framework.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, preferably in a correctional setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using digital tools and software.

Salary

£23,316 - £28,000 per annum.

This salary range reflects the compensation for this role based on industry standards and location. Please note that salaries may vary depending on individual circumstances.
