About the Role

The Senior Site Reliability Developer at Preply Inc. will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale, fault-tolerant systems that deliver exceptional uptime and performance.

This role combines software development, infrastructure operations, and business acumen to drive Preply's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the availability and performance of critical services, ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical challenges and design innovative solutions.
  • Improve system scalability, observability, and alerting to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Participate in paid on-call rotations to ensure prompt incident response and resolution.
Requirements
  • Expertise in problem-solving and analyzing high-loaded systems.
  • Proficiency with production troubleshooting and debugging.
  • Business-orientation and data-driven approach to drive decision-making.
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm or similar technologies.
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud providers.
  • Understanding of Networking fundamentals.
  • Experience coding in one or more programming languages.
  • Willingness to participate in paid on-call rotations.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
