About the Role

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you'll apply your expertise in software and systems engineering to design, build, and maintain our robust infrastructure. You'll reduce system complexity, improve performance, and ensure mission-critical applications run smoothly.

The SRE team brings diverse technical experience, from production engineering to chaos engineering and cloud architecture. You'll drive automation, optimization, and incident response, providing hands-on support to other engineering teams.

You'll collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to create reliable, resilient applications and systems.

Responsibilities

  1. Understand and manage the full lifecycle of applications at a business level.
  2. Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of critical systems.
  3. Automate repetitive tasks and resolve complex system issues.
  4. Investigate new solutions to enhance system operations and address technical challenges.
  5. Develop green-field engineering solutions based on root cause analysis.
  6. Lead incident response, driving both tactical fixes and long-term improvements.
  7. Promote SRE principles across engineering teams and the broader organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Required Skills

  • Strong foundation in computer science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
  • Experience with software development tools and best practices.
  • Strong database knowledge, with SQL experience being a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for solving challenging technical problems.
