About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our inpatient department, the Dufferin Ward, at The Horder Centre. As a key member of our close-knit team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, supervising and maintaining the highest standards of care, and ensuring an efficient and seamless service is provided at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and supportive environment, adhering to our core values of Caring, Friendly, Quality, Integrity, and Pride.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care, promoting a seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of patient outcomes and experiences.

About You

  • You will be a passionate and experienced clinical expert, with excellent communication skills and empathy.
  • RGN / NMC registered, with prior orthopaedic experience.
  • Personal and approachable, with a real motivation to help uphold the outstanding rating proudly held by The Horder Centre.
  • Excellent communication skills, to help build those all-important and respected relationships with our patients and your direct and wider teams.
  • Proactive and forward thinking, with a passion for continued learning.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary, ranging from £28,000 to £34,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
