About the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Orthopaedic Nurse Lead to join our team at Epsom General Hospital. As a key member of our orthopaedic department, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care while maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in orthopaedic nursing, with a strong background in leadership and management. You will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures, as well as providing guidance and support to nursing staff on best practices.

Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff on best practices.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with nursing policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement strategies to improve patient care.
- Monitor and analyze patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing interventions as necessary.
- Degree in nursing or a related field.
- Experience in orthopaedic nursing, preferably in a leadership or management role.
- Strong knowledge of nursing policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £59,490 - £66,239 per annum, depending on experience.
