About the Role:

The Alliance Vetting Researcher will be responsible for conducting thorough research and analysis of intelligence and information to support the vetting process for individuals requiring clearance. This will involve utilizing various information systems, including the Force, National, and other bespoke systems, to gather and evaluate sensitive and confidential information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess sensitive and confidential information to prepare vetting files for submission to the Force Vetting Officer.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including managing incoming queries and maintaining comprehensive records of vetting decisions and other enquiries.
  • Maintain contact with other vetting agencies and organizations to gather intelligence and support the vetting process.

Requirements:

  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate and assess sensitive and confidential information.
  • Excellent communication and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Working Arrangements:

This role is based at Police Headquarters, Winfrith, Dorset, and involves working as a Hybrid Worker, with a combination of remote and office-based work. The role is 37 hours per week, with flexibility to work part-time or adjust working patterns subject to business need.
