Vehicle Technician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team at a market-leading car dealership group. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle maintenance and repair using your technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair using technical knowledge
  • Test, diagnose, and resolve faults
  • Work on electrical and mechanical systems
  • Inspect components for wear and tear
  • Repair and replace parts
  • Check vehicle subsystems
  • Support other Technicians in the Workshop

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Current valid MOT Licence is advantageous but not essential
  • Capability of working to the highest quality standards and efficiency targets
  • Great team player and communication skills
  • Can-do, positive attitude
