Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Physical Education Teacher to join our team in Merton, London.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging PE lessons that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives and policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to stakeholders.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a relevant degree or equivalent in Physical Education or a related field.
  2. Proven experience teaching Physical Education at the secondary level, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum requirements.
  3. A passion for promoting physical fitness, health, and well-being among young people.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the wider life of the school community.
  5. Commitment to upholding the school's values and ethos, promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Salary:

An estimated annual salary of £42,000 - £52,000 depending on experience, plus benefits.
