Job Overview: We are seeking an exceptional GP pharmacist independent prescriber to join our team at The Sterling Group. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical services to patients in a busy GP practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, GPs, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct medication reviews, prescribe medications, and provide expert advice on safe use and monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate records using the EMIS system and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop treatment plans for complex patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with NHS guidelines, local formulary requirements, and best practices in pharmacy.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Active registration as a Qualified Independent Prescriber with the GPhC.
  • Prior experience working in a GP practice or primary care setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Valid Enhanced DBS check and registration with the GPhC.
