Glenrothes, Fife, United Kingdom SDS Options Fife Full time

About the Role:

Your role will involve supporting a young girl with ASD, ADHD, and a learning disability to participate in fun activities like swimming, visiting the park, and exploring her world. She requires assistance with personal care, such as getting dried and changed after swimming, and needs your support to stay safe due to her lack of risk awareness.

This is a fulfilling opportunity where you can build a special bond, help her develop new skills, and make every outing memorable. Her family is flexible with hours and would love to find the right person who can connect with her and provide the necessary support.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing positive and supportive care to the individual.
  • Assisting with daily activities and promoting independence.
  • Helping to plan and suggest new activities that cater to her interests.
  • Maintaining a safe environment while out and about.
  • Building a strong bond and creating meaningful memories.

We are seeking an individual who is:

  • Flexible and able to work irregular hours, including school holidays.
  • Positive and patient in their approach to work.
  • Able to provide physical support, as required.
  • Passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs and be able to provide a high level of care and attention. If you are a caring and motivated individual looking for a rewarding opportunity, we encourage you to apply.

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per annum
