Job Description

The Eton Philanthropy Specialist will work closely with the Director of Development and Executive Director of Communications, Engagement and Development to devise and manage a comprehensive fundraising strategy in support of the College's short, medium, and long-term vision. The ideal candidate will have experience in database entry, analysis, reporting, and project management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a highly ambitious and sustainable regular and annual giving strategy
  • Prepare and manage detailed plans for execution of appeals, including digital, direct mail, and personal solicitations
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure rigorous gift management administration systems and accurate maintenance of prospect data
  • Conduct data analysis to understand donor behavior and develop data-driven annual giving strategies
  • Support fundraising strategy through implementation of strong support systems and day-to-day administrative practices

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in database formats; knowledge of ThankQ/Access Charity CRM a plus
  • Ability to assess donor data and segment appropriately
  • High levels of commercial awareness, tact, and discretion
  • Practical knowledge of the Data Protection Act
