Teaching Assistant Role
Vision for Education - Teesside Secondary is committed to the learning and development of young people. We are seeking a skilled Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and provide support to students.
- The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent education and a passion for education and providing the highest possible level of support to young people.
You will cover classes across the full range of secondary school subjects, but don't worry, you are not expected to be a subject specialist in each area. It is your role to facilitate the class's learning, manage classroom behaviour, record accurate registers, and provide a handover to the absent teacher.
Our benefits include excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system, social and networking events, pension contributions, and CPD to help with your professional development.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience of working within a Secondary school prior to applying to Initial Teacher Training. Although previous experience of working in a Secondary School is desirable, it is not essential.
