Procurement Specialist

The Vendor Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiating contracts and managing vendor performance
- Evaluating vendors and assessing their capabilities
- Maintaining a database of contracts and services
- Contributing to data improvement initiatives
- Investigating legacy contracts and making recommendations
- Documenting pricing and charging mechanisms
Technical Skills:
- Vendor Relationship Management: Establishing positive relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Contract Negotiation and Management: Negotiating favorable terms with vendors
- Vendor Sourcing and Evaluation: Identifying suitable vendors for organizational needs
Certifications Preferred:
Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD)
Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
