Job Description:

Z-Tech Control Systems is a leading provider of specialist MEICA support to the UK's Water, Energy, and Adjacent Market industries. We are seeking an experienced CompEx Lead Engineer to join our team and lead projects in hazardous areas.

Main Duties:
  1. Lead and manage projects in hazardous areas, ensuring strict compliance with CompEx standards and safety regulations.
  2. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project objectives, specifications, and customer expectations.
  3. Conduct regular site inspections, particularly in hazardous areas, to assess progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  4. Develop and maintain project schedules, allocate resources effectively, and monitor project budgets.
  5. Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, resolving technical challenges and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in the water industry, with a focus on engineering works in hazardous areas.
  • Strong knowledge of safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) standards and their application in engineering projects, with a particular focus on hazardous environments.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects within set timelines and budgets.

Remuneration:
The estimated salary for this role is £52,500 per annum, based on the location in the South of England. Z-Tech offers a competitive benefits package, including 25 days of annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, a pension scheme, life assurance, and more.
