About the Role

NES Fircroft is seeking a Discipline Engineering Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and commenting on discipline engineering work performed by both internal teams and contractors to ensure that work is being executed in accordance with project specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and comment on discipline engineering work to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate effective execution of discipline engineering and design routines that align with the project's goals and objectives.
  • Assure accurate and timely communication among the Project Team and Company functions on discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related engineering specialty.
  • Extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria.
  • Proficient in data collection and analysis with common database and software data analysis tools.
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience with Steam and Gas turbine control systems.
  • TUV Functional Safety qualified.
  • CompEx Ex12 qualified.
