About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Portfolio Manager to join our team at BDO UK. As a Portfolio Manager for Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Valuations, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of client projects and supporting Directors and Partners in creating efficiencies in client projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the delivery of client projects in the renewable energy and infrastructure investment space
  • Support Directors and Partners in creating efficiencies in client projects
  • Build excellent client relationships and deliver sector-specific business development materials
  • Guide junior team members and provide mentorship and coaching
  • Prepare valuation models using a range of techniques, including discounted cash flow, market multiples, and cost
  • Proactively manage project timetables and reporting to senior colleagues
Requirements
  • 2+ years of practical experience in the valuation of renewable energy projects (e.g. solar, wind, hydro, biomass, BESS)
  • Deep understanding of valuation concepts and techniques
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to produce written reports to a high standard
  • Strong financial analysis skills and ability to identify and investigate key issues in a valuation
  • Proficiency in a number of valuation techniques, including discounted cash flow and multiples analysis
  • Excellent academic background, including a relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFA / CAIA / ICAEW / ACCA)
