Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Portfolio Valuation Role

BDO LLP, a leading accountancy and business advisory firm, is seeking a skilled professional to manage a portfolio of valuation clients in the renewable energy and infrastructure investment space.

As a Manager or Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of client projects, building strong relationships with clients, and developing business development materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the delivery of client projects, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
  • Support senior colleagues in creating efficiencies in client projects and guiding junior team members.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Prepare valuation models using various techniques, including discounted cash flow and market multiples.
  • Proactively manage project timelines, reporting to and working directly with senior colleagues.
  • Identify and investigate key issues in valuations, challenging information provided where necessary.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in the valuation of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, hydro, biomass, and BESS.
  • Deep understanding of valuation concepts and principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to produce high-quality written reports.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create engaging presentations.
  • Relevant professional qualification, such as CFA, CAIA, ICAEW, or ACCA.
  • Proficiency in various valuation techniques, including discounted cash flow and multiples analysis.
